Julie started her fitness journey in 1998 as a Spinning instructor. She realized the minute she gets on a bike her energy and motivation come alive.
Throughout the years of teaching Spin, seeing the confidence grow in her clients would only make being an instructor even more enjoyable. Julie has been teaching spinning on and off over the past 20 years. About 4 years ago she decided to see what other opportunities there are to broaden her fitness lifestyle. After joining a small gym, Julie started going to strength training classes using the TRX suspension training straps. TRX was something completely new, and at first out of her comfort zone, but over time she realized how much she enjoyed the classes. She was impressed how her body changed and started gaining more muscle and strength. In 2016, she decided to became a group instructor/coach for the TRX Suspension training courses and began teaching her own classes. In addition to Spin and TRX, Julie is also a certified Pound Instructor.
Health and fitness has always been important in Julie's life, but over the past several years her fitness journey has changed, by choice. As she ages, she realizes some things aren't as easy as they used to be, so changing up her workouts has been beneficial in that it helps her body continue to maintain strength and energy.
Julie is married, has two awesome dogs and works full time as a Corporate Investigator. She's active in her church, singing in the lead choir, and loves spending time outside camping, hiking and riding her motorcycle. Julie's belief is that you only have this one time to live your life to the fullest. So don't live with fear or barriers, instead live with all the adventures life will bring you!
